Our Managing Partner, Kenneth Morrice, recently conducted the 2022 Saltire Programmes interviews on behalf of Entrepreneurial Scotland and was thoroughly impressed with the calibre and confidence of the students involved.
As a business, MM Search annually takes part in this initiative and will be looking for two new Intern Executives from Entrepreneurial Scotland to join us in 2022.
MM Search Founding Managing Partner, Ken Morrice, says, “It is always a privilege to be invited by Entrepreneurial Scotland to interview the potential Saltire Scholars. The Saltire Scholar Internship Programme is important for the future of Scottish talent; it matches high-potential undergraduates from Scottish universities with leading global and entrepreneurial companies.
“We make it a priority to invest in future leaders; within the past 12 months, we have welcomed two intern executives and four graduates. We have seen first-hand the benefits of hiring graduates and offering them both a nurturing and challenging career opportunity.
“Last year, we offered two paid Summer internships to students from St. Andrews University and Herriot Watt, and it was such a success that we are looking forward to welcoming more undergraduates to our team this summer.”
Ken Morrice has recently completed the Saltire Leaders Catalyst programme “Conscious Leadership”, run by Entrepreneurial Scotland and Babson College. The programme has been designed to bring a global perspective and international insight into the continuing professional development of business leaders in Scotland.
