£5,000 raised for the Ellie Soutter Foundation!

We raised almost £5,000 for the Ellie Soutter Foundation (ESF) at our charity celebrity quiz night in December 2020. As with all things 2020, it was certainly a first for us…

We don’t mind admitting that we were a tad nervous about the behind-the-scenes tech side and our ability to host, manage and make a virtual quiz happen, but as with all things we do we give it our all and never shy away from a challenge!

We pride ourselves on being digital-first as an exec search business but technical whizz kids we are not, however, we are so glad that we and so many of our (virtual) guests took the leap of faith to make this year’s event happen. Against all odds, we raised a huge amount and vital funds for the ESF in a year that has hit the charity sector very hard.

The impact the funds raised will boost the charity exponentially, helping support young winter sports athletes across the UK. Money raised will also go towards the Ellie Safe House – a community-led project in Les Gets, France for local children in the ski resort that Ellie lived and trained. The Ellie Safe House provides support for children that are struggling with anxiety and bullying, mental health awareness and social media.

Special thanks to our quiz hosts Sir Harry Burns, Fred MacAulay, John Beattie, Kaye Adams, and so many others.

Companies that donated auction prizes too were a huge help – Tunnocks, Ishga, Essence of Harris, Glasgow Distillery, Innes and Gunn to name a few, we couldn’t have done it without you.

Supporting charities in any way we can right now is more important than ever. Thank you to everyone that supported us.
