Derek MacFeate joins Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Board

November 2022

MM Search Managing Founding Partner, Derek MacFeate, has joined the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce was originally incorporated in 1813 to encourage and promote trade and manufacturing in the area. Since then, the Chamber has grown to reflect Inverclyde’s evolving business community and supports companies across various industries to be successful and prosperous.

“I was born and bred in Inverclyde, and I am hugely passionate about the area and its many thriving businesses,” says Derek. “MM Search has been a member of the ICC for several years and I am very proud to be able to join the esteemed Board of Directors.

“This is an amazing opportunity to champion local businesses, particularly in such a tough economic landscape. I’m looking forward to building close relationships with other business owners in the area and gaining insights into how the Chamber can best support them going forwards.”

“I’m delighted that Derek has joined the Board,” says Mark Spragg, President of the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce. “Derek has been a great supporter of the wider Scottish Chambers Network, and he brings a wealth of experience and connections to the role. We look forward to working closely with him to further progress Inverclyde Chamber.”

Friday, the 11th of November, the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce will host its annual business awards, the ICON Awards. The ICON Awards are a celebration of Inverclyde’s local business achievements, and the team at MM Search are proud to be sponsoring the Business Growth Award. The Business Growth Award will highlight the success of a local business that has both achieved substantial year-on-year growth and has ambitious plans for the future.

We look forward to celebrating with the ICON winners and wish all entrants the best of luck!
