MM Athletes Programme
Launched in November 2022, MM Athletes is an innovative new programme that enables MM Search to support individuals in sport. The initiative intends to help sports stars achieve their full potential whether they are at grassroots level or play professionally.
Our MM Athletes
Ken’s passion for sport has seen him compete in multiple triathlons over the last 6 years and having completed a few Ironman70.3 events he went on to complete his first IronMan140.6 competition in June 2020 at the ripe old age of 40.
Ken has competed in the World Triathlon Championships and the Europeans as part of the GB Age Group Team, hosted in Slovakia and Spain in late 2022. This year he is competing in several competitions across the globe, keep an eye on our socials for regular updates on his journey.
MM Athletes is now supporting Glasgow City FC goalkeeper, Lee Gibson. Lee first joined the Glasgow City FC team back in 2006 and her footballing career and the club have gone from strength to strength, with the team currently sitting at the top of the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
MM Search is very proud to be sponsoring Lee’s home kit for the coming season and Lee has expressed that this kind of support is crucial to both the club and the sport.
Hailing from Greenock, George has over 70 years of weightlifting experience and has competed at the top level in events worldwide. This includes representing Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in 1970 and was Scottish National Olympic Weightlifting Team Coach from 1974 to 1981 coaching the Scottish weightlifting team at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada to Silver and Bronze medals and two Fourth places from a seven-man team.
MM Athletes is proud to announce that the initiative sponsors rugby player, Andrew Jardine, in the 22/23 season.
When he’s not on the pitch with Biggar Rugby Club, Andrew Jardine plays the position of Client Engagement Executive at MM Search. Andrew’s journey into the world of executive search is somewhat unique and he is currently balancing his role in the office with studying for his final exams at the University of Stirling.
MM Search is proud to announce that Inverclyde-based weightlifter, Denise Trayling, will be joining the diverse array of sportspeople involved in the MM Athletes programme.
Denise first began lifting weights in 2016 and quickly found a passion for the sport. Today she competes at an international level and has eight gold medals and two silvers under her belt.
